Oh my! How quickly the days, weeks, and months fly by. I feel as though I have been away for the past year and am running as fast as I can to catch up. We’ve been dyeing lots and lots of yarn, I’m dyeing silk scarves, and I am learning a new dyeing technique for silk painting. What fun! Come see the new silks I have hanging; beautiful Summer colors!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at John C. Campbell and had a marvelous class. Everyone produced amazing silks and we had such fun doing it.
SALE FOR MAY: This month we are having a GIVE AWAY! For every purchase over $50, you may chose one yarn from the sale room – for FREE! It can’t get better than that, can it? If you are working with mesh yarns, we have a wide choice to choose from, and we are keeping them at 25% off. Don’t forget that our sale area is always a great opportunity as these yarns are 30% off. As new yarns come in, older yarns give up their space and are put in the sale yarn. You can always find interesting yarns there at a whopping 30% off. Please say that you receive our newsletter when you check out.
You should see the yarns we’ve dyed…almost 100 skeins over a three-day period, (pant, pant). They are gloriously bright and beautiful…shouting out “SUMMER IS COMING!”

Silk Dyeing
Shibori Dyeing
Yarn Dyeing,
I will structure a class for a minimum of three (in some cases, a maximum of three), for one, two, or three-day classes. Let’s talk about what you’d like to learn. This is also a good opportunity to have some educational fun with family members visiting you. Family classes are so much fun!
FUN AND GAMES
Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 to 2. This is a social knit, with lots of
laughter. Come in and meet some very talented knitters who enjoy each
others company and seeing the work of our hands. Yarn purchases are
discounted on the days you knit with us. We are a very “relaxed” shop.
You can find yarns that we carry, or can get for you, at the following
websites. If we don’t have it on the shelf, we will gladly order for you.
We also subscribe to a Skeins List, which gives us an opportunity to find
discontinued and out of date yarns as well. If it can be found, we’ll find it
- and for you who live out of town, we will gladly send it to you.
